These cards explore floriography, or the language of flowers. In the 1800s, the tragically demure Victorians communicated their true feelings for one another with subtle gestures like a bouquet of symbolism. Plants have meanings in cultures around the world, and I look forward to learning more.
Mistletoe (viscum album) - Beyond it's traditional "kiss me" implications, mistletoe also symbolizes surmounting difficulties.
Poinsettia (euphorbia pulcherrima) - Represents good cheer and merriment.
Holly (ilex aquifolium) - Good luck, good will, and foresight.
Evergreen/Cedar (cedrus) - Strength.
Hellebores (helleborus niger) - Represents peace, protection, and tranquility. In some parts of the world, they bloom as early as January and February
